I Have a Dream Anniversary
Today is the anniversary of the day Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered his famous "I Have a Dream" speech on August 28, 1963 at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial to an audience of more than two hundred thousand. Students can read King's complete speech in Mirrors & Windows: Connecting with Literature, Level IV Grade 9, on page 268. The audio of the speech is also available at www.mirrorsandwindows.com.
